Senior Club runs every Tuesday and Thursday evening. During the season, club nights are free for members.

Orewa Badminton Club is a casual, relaxed club affiliated with the North Harbour Badminton Association, and is one of the few clubs on the Shore with its own dedicated badminton facility.
Erected in 2000, our facility services the entire Hibiscus Coast area. Find us at Victor Eaves Park, Florence Ave, Orewa.

Junior Badminton Orewa (JBO) includes foundation skills, fun, coaching and tuition. Limited spaces available.
JBO Development and Performance Squads help juniors progress. Selection is via invitation only.

A court tag is required to access the hall and turn on the lights.
Court tags are currently issued to members only. A minimum Social membership ($100, or $60 for the half year) is required.
Contact Mike Weston on 029 286 0289. A tag costs $30 (non-refundable). Tags are usually issued on Tuesday club nights. Please do not book until you have your tag in hand.
Arrange credits with Mike by email, text or phone. Court hire and tag payments go to the Trust account, not the Club account. Present your tag to the court reader to turn on the lights for one hour.
Private coaching and adult beginner coaching are available on demand. Contact Lau on 021 572 787. English, Mandarin and Cantonese spoken.

Racket re-stringing, repairs, rackets, clothing, shoes and more. The pro shop and stringing drop-off hours are nominally 7–9 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Service is available seven days by arrangement with Lau on 021 572 787.
We usually have A, B, and sometimes C grade teams. Winter Doubles interclub normally starts in June, with teams selected during March and April.
Club starts Tuesday 13 January 2026. AGM: Tuesday 3 March at 8 pm. The season runs from March to October, although our club currently runs January through December.
Casual players are currently not being accepted due to unprecedented attendance on club nights. The club apologizes for any inconvenience. Visitors are still welcome to view the games and facility prior to committing to membership.
The Orewa Badminton Charitable Trust is no longer accepting casual bookings for court hire.

Annual membership fees are required to continue membership. Court tags are validated with annual fees; if the next year’s fees are not paid by 1 April, your tag becomes invalid until payment is made.
Tag credits are loaded at the member rate of $7.50 per court per hour. Contact Mike to top up. Court tag and hire payments must go to the Trust account — please do not pay them into the Club account.
Please cancel at least 48 hours before your booked time so others can use the slot. Unused bookings that are not cancelled may be charged.
